Coptic folk are a ethnoreligious group of people who are indigenous to Egypt. In exploring what Coptic identity means to me along with others I chose to provide subjective images of elements regarding identity. These works further helps decolonize in reviving cultural aspects regarding Coptic culture by using modern art genres. These works manage to provide representation while remaining respectful of how Coptic people choose to preserve their culture as well.
